As we become subject-specific professionals, our natural & cosmic worlds are contracting into a flat circle. Our development, knowledge, priorities and practices are becoming unidimensional instead of multidimensional. About me, I am an Indian who was brought up in a family of Ayurveda & Homeopathy. Throughout childhood & early adulthood I had the strongest immune system, sharpest mind and fittest body and I seldom felt tired or sick. But as the world around me got more lustrious, I put this all aside and disconnected from my roots. The inital disconnection didn't hurt. My body could take it and irresposibilty was accomodating. But all things artificial come with a price. A few years, and in my late 20's I began suffering from depression, weak immune system, chronic fatigue, migraines, weak joints and currently, Gluten intolerance. You don't want to know what it is like being an indian and gluten intolerant. Our meals revolve around wheat! Which is why I acted foolish, greedy and totally ignorant of my symptoms for almost 3-4 years. Only recently when the symptoms got more severe, did I realise I need to fix myself. But I also believe, any problem is only as big as you make it to be. So, this is blog is about positivity, healing, my journey to be gluten free and my family's knowledge of ayurveda for many other problems! Everyone is welcome aboard!
